Wednesday 13th June
Arrival at Pisa Galileo Galilei Airport where you will be transported to Hotel La Pia, Montecatini Terme. Spend the evening getting to know each other and having evening dinner. There is also a delightful fountain and seating area outside our hotel for meeting up and evening drinks etc.
We base ourselves in Hotel La Pia. I visited this wonderful family run hotel in September 2017, to meet the owner Maria la Pia, and plan a wonderful creative escape. The hotel is set in a green area of Montecatini Terme, a thermal town in the heart of historic Tuscany.
I had a fabulous time and found Maria to be more than helpful. Hotel La Pia offers gastronomic specialities of the Tuscan tradition and a rich buffet of vegetables. A buffet-style breakfast is served every morning, including typical homemade cakes. The cellar has a variety of Italian wines. This property also has one of the best-rated locations in Montecatini Terme. Trip Advisor Reviews
